The third and final checkpoint is cleared, and ANA soldiers are confirmed to have manned the machine guns that fired on the Task Force at this time. Baseplate informs the local military of this, and receives clearance to engage suspected traitors.The second checkpoint is cleared, and ANA soldiers were reported to have fought alongside the Buhriz Movement, but this is not confirmed due to the lack of bodies donning ANA uniforms. They inform the Task Force of the faction split, and hold at the first checkpoint. ANA and ANP survivors of the other checkpoints meet up with Task Force Badger shortly before they move to the second checkpoint. This proved disastrous, and many were unable to effectively engage the conventional branch of the Buhriz Movement.Following the failure of the investigation groups to report back, Baseplate confirmed with the local military command the deployment of Task Force Badger as QRF to assist ANA soldiers, in full combat equipment.The first checkpoint was found overrun, and a grave with incinerated bodies believed to belong to the Afghan National Police (ANP) is found.
This marks the first playable mission to have taken place within the timeline of the 2019 Spring Offensive.
